“In the fall of 2017, we built a 144 foot by 32 foot greenhouse with a climate battery. Last summer we built a second one.
These greenhouses have allowed us to harvest greens through the cold Canadian winter with no supplemental heat. It also lets us plant tomatoes a month early and greatly increases our yields. We estimate that it costs us less than $500 per year in electricity to run the system.”
