Why Atmos?

At our core, we’re farmers. We want systems that work well, improve our bottom line, and enable us to grow food in better ways.

Climate battery greenhouses do just that for us: they drastically reduce heating costs in our greenhouses and are reliable all year round. We’d value the opportunity to speak with you and see if climate battery technology would be a good fit for your farm.

Tim Clymer

Climate Battery Designer and Farmer

Tim is a nerd with a fruit tree obsession. A computer scientist by training, he’s a farmer by trade. After building his first climate battery greenhouse at Threefold Farm in 2017, Tim has been avid at learning more about how climate batteries work and improving their design. He’s a big fan of The Lord of the Rings and other such literature.

Sawyer Rensel

Entrepreneur and 3D Generalist

Sawyer is a creator of things plastic, iron, and digital 3D. Like Tim, he’s a nerd with a green thumb. As a recent graduate from Messiah College’s business department, Sawyer now runs his own plastic recycling company, CradleCraft. His favorite books are Cradle to Cradle, The Name of the Wind, and The Backyard Homestead.

It all began at Threefold Farm.

Tim and his wife, Katherine, operate an orchard of unusual fruits in south-central PA and grow figs, pawpaws, kiwi berries, raspberries, and blackberries.
